One of the reasons I haven’t been able to get into some serious Christmas card making is that I’ve been making some other cards of the non-Christmas variety. There seem to be so many birthdays at this time of the year!
We’re off to a wedding shortly , so I’ve been good for once and haven’t left it until the morning of the nuptials.
I’m not big on gushy sentiments like “Always and Forever” but sometimes you just roll with it. I think I based this card on a similar design from Splitcoast Stampers, and I also drew inspiration from there for this really easy card I made for my Mum’s recent birthday:
I like making matching envelopes – have got this incredibly overpriced piece of plastic thing called The Envelope pro, but I use it all the time to make envelopes to match the size of card I’m making. My card sizes tend to be pretty standard – 1/4 A4 size, but Holly has made some doozies in the past and The Envelope pro has come in pretty handy.
Finally I made some “masculine” gift tags (I was flagging and figured guys often don’t appreciate the whole card thing anyway, so let’s just make something quick and simple):

Love the spotty masculine gift tag! Looks really effective. Also love the card you made for Lyn’s birthday. You’re so talented…
